Take an evening art stroll through this 1680 harbor town on the second Friday evening of the
month. Participating shops and galleries stay open late featuring local artists, demonstrations and specials, with dining in international and eclectic eateries. Sponsored by the Onancock Business & Civic Association.

Ice Cream Social and Patriotic Band Concert
July 3, 2012
6:30 - 8:30 p.m.
The Accomack Community Band dishes up patriotic, toe-tapping tunes, while the Onancock Business & Civic Association dishes out the ice cream at the Town Square.
Music for the Hungry

Onancock Harborfest
September 7 - 9, 2012
An annual family fun event. Music, food and fun. Concerts, kayak/canoe race, Great Paper Boat Race, critter parade and a rubber duck race are highlights. Location: the town wharf at the end of Market Street.

SPCA Pet Walk

Paint Onancock! Plein Air Event
October 9 - 13, 2012
Artists at work at their easels all around town. The completed works will be on display at a reception and sale during Second Friday Art Stroll. Come out to support the artists as they capture the spirit of our scenic harbor town on canvas.
Noel Night on Second Friday

Santa arrives at Onancock Wharf by boat, accompanied by kayak reindeer. Caroling and tree-lighting in Town Park. Shops and galleries remain open until 8 p.m.
  
Onancock Christmas Homes Tour and Music Festival
December 2012
2-6 p.m.
Step inside some of this historic wharf town's finest homes, all decked out for the season (2-6 pm). Listen to holiday music at a free concert at Historic Cokesbury Church (3-7 pm). Presented by the Onancock Business & Civic Association to benefit a different local organization each year.
