Eastern Shore of Virginia Historical Society 2010 Symposium

Observations and Discoveries from the Early South. Scholars, Curators and Southern characters will enlighten and entertain with thoughts and theories on some of America's most important dwellings and lifestyles of the 18th century. Includes a tour of historic homes. Space is strictly limited to 100 participants, so please sign up early to guarantee a seat.
   Onancock Christmas Homes Tour

Step inside some of this historic wharf town's finest homes, all decked out for the season. Listen to holiday music, including the Orchestra of the Eastern Shore, at a free concert at Historic Cokesbury Church, 4-8 p.m. Tour tickets ($15) can be purchased the day of the tour or in advance by phone. Presented by the Onancock Business & Civic Association to benefit a different local organization each year.

Whether looking for a bargain treasure or to clean out your own attic, this town-wide yard sale is the day to visit Historic Onancock. Many shops in town hold sidewalk sales along Market, North and King streets. Come, spend the day, and have lunch or dinner in one of the great international restaurants in this historic waterfront town. Vendor space available. We are pet-friendly!    Patriotic Band Concert and Ice Cream Social
