The town of Onancock nestles between two forks of a creek on the Eastern Shore of Virginia. Surrounded by the Chesapeake Bay and the Atlantic Ocean, the Eastern Shore is a land of tiny towns, winding waterways, farms and forests. Begin your exploration of the area with a visit to Onancock.

Founded in 1680, Onancock is now home to 1,500 lucky residents. Visitors can peek into art galleries and funky shops. Several restaurants serve tasty meals. There are half a dozen upscale places to lay your head, from restored Victorian Bed & Breakfast inns with porch swings to a boutique hotel.

Kayak Tours
