Christmas in Onancock 2026 dates: Dec. 4-Dec. 31.

A month of festivities culminates the second weekend in December featuring Santa’s arrival by boat, the Onancock Christmas Homes Tour and Cokesbury Music Festival, Holiday Artisan Market, Holiday Films, and the famous Parade. Come to Onancock on Virginia’s Eastern Shore and visit homes that reflect the town’s Histroric and unique styles, plus historic sites.

Friday, Dec. 5:

Kick off the Holiday Season with a grand illumination of 30 Christmas Trees on the front lawn of Ker Place, home of the Eastern Shore of VIrginia Historical Society. Trees will be lit nightly from Dec. 5 through New Year’s Eve. Enjoy the festive spirit of uniquely decorated trees sponsored by businesses, organizations and families. Thursday, Dec. 11:

FREE Holiday Movie: “Mr. Blandings Builds His Dream House” Roseland Theatre, 7 pm.

Friday, Dec. 12:

Ker Place Holiday Dinner 6 pm TICKETS

A special holiday Second Friday Art Stroll.

Saturday, Dec. 13:
SANTA arrives by boat @ the Wharf 11:00 am Accomack Community Band plays.
HOS Holiday Artisan Market @ Historic Onancock School 10 am – 3 pm

Breakfast with Elves! @ North Street Playhouse 10 am – 1 pm
Christmas Homes Tour 1-5 pm TICKETS sold in advance online, and at Historic Onancock School and Ker Place.
Cokesbury Music Festival 2 - 4 pm
